چکیده
AbstractObjective To evaluate the effects of a physical exercise program on days lived at home, use and costs health care social services, mortality, functional independence among patients with hip fractures. Design Randomized controlled trial parallel 2-group design consisting 12-month intervention registry follow-up. Setting Home-based intervention. Participants Patients aged ≥60 years (N=121) operated fracture who were living home randomized into (n=61) usual (n=60) groups. Interventions Supervised twice week. Main Outcome Measures The primary outcome was number over 24 months. Secondary outcomes mortality months, Functional Independence Measure (FIM) 12 Results Over there no significant difference between groups in terms (incidence rate ratio, 1.01; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.90-1.14) or (hazard CI, 0.42-2.43). mean total services did not differ per person-year 1.26-fold (95% 0.87-1.86) greater group than months 1.08-fold 0.77-1.70) change FIM 4.5 points 0.5-8.5; P=.029) favor group. Conclusions Long-term home-based had effect cost neutral these scores improved both but improvement significantly

متن کاملEffect of home-based exercise on functional ability of hemodialysis patients: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Background: hemodialysis patients suffer from impaired functional ability. Several pilot studies have been conducted concerning the effect of home-based exercise on functional ability of hemodialysis patients; however, there have been observed some contradictions between the results of these studies. The aim of this study was, therefore, to determine the effects of home-based exercise on functi...
